Our C-170A was built in 1950. Originally it came with a 145hp engine, this particular aircraft is equipped with a 180hp engine making it a great performer. This aircraft is great for earning your tail wheel endorsement. Most tail wheel airplanes have the bad habit of not having good and sometimes not having any forward visibility during landing and take-off. The C-170 thankfully doesn’t have this problem. It is a good solid airplane capable of handling winds of south Texas without any trouble and has great forward visibility in all phases of flight.
